Ltd., a Fintech analytics enterprise software company providing cloud and on premise solutions for financial institutions engaged in consumer and commercial lending. Hari has over twenty five years of experience in Consumer and Commercial Risk in assisting many large and global private equity and financial institutions with review, assessment, restructuring and enhancement of consumer finance, retail and commercial banking portfolios. He has worked in global and regional roles in both developed markets like US, UK and Europe and in developing markets across Asia, Central Europe and Latin America.
Hari has also been the founder and Managing Partner of a risk advisory firm that provided sophisticated risk assessment and analysis for financial institutions globally. His unique global experience of developed and developing markets at senior levels enabled a strong best-practice sharing and benchmarking capability.
Hari has promoted and founded a ground-breaking comprehensive analytics and risk management firm serving the banking industry with offshore and onshore outsourcing of analytics, risk management and operational monitoring, integrated with a risk software product business. As the Founder President, he spearheaded business growth, with many of the top banks globally as its clients, over 300 employees with a strong management team and a truly international presence with offices from Taipei to Chicago. Having raised circa $20 Mill. of capital, business momentum continued to be strong through the Great Recession, achieving nearly $10 Mill. in revenues in three years.
Prior to this, he had spent 17 years with Citigroup where, as Global Risk Director for credit cards, he managed risk for all the consumer and commercial credit card businesses, payment platforms and merchant businesses owned and managed by Citi. His prior responsibilities as Regional Senior Risk Officer for Citigroup Asia included managing all of Citigroup’s consumer and commercial risk across multiple countries in Asia.
Hari has significant industry knowledge by leading and participating in over 50 M&A risk due diligences across the globe, which also enabled him to develop a best-in-class analytical package for the M&A due diligence processes. He has received multiple Global Awards from Citigroup for consistent outstanding delivery and for developing innovative state-of-the-art analytics and for M&A Due Diligence processes.
Hari has been credited for successfully growing portfolios through Credit Crises using targeted data mining, while working down other problematic portfolios with focused strategies using his extensive experience in all aspects of collections. He also created and designed a standardized automated Risk MIS platform for the Citi’s Asia region. He has a strong reputation in the industry for forward-thinking and delivering balanced business growth through data-driven decision-making.
